Founded in September 2017, Division Brass has engaged in numerous venues performing a variety of repertoire including arrangements of popular music, holiday music, and serious brass chamber music. The quintet was born of a common mission to provide quality music in Chicago and advance the art of the brass quintet between musicians in the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. It's members David Nakazono, Bryant Millet, Thomas Vienna, Brian Johnston, and Bradley Geneser are all accomplished musicians in the Chicago area and have performed with several ensembles and festivals including the Tanglewood Music Center, National Repertory Orchestra, Brevard Music Center, New World Symphony, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, members of Division Brass hold positions with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the Wisconsin Philharmonic, teaching at the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
They are available to perform a number of services including weddings, parties, corporate events, Church services, recitals, and educational programs. |
